Ashley C. Lanuza is a ghostwriter, author, and editor. Her passion for writing dates back to 2009 when she was awarded by the City of Los Angeles for their annual writing competition. Since then, she has contributed to the Mid-Valley Newspaper, the Daily Bruin, and the digital platform, Odyssey. In-between, she has written short stories, think-piece articles, and the poems that eventually became her book, My Heart of Rice (February 2020). As a writing coach, she emphasizes careful reflection and honest emotion as sources for inspiration. Ashley’s previous work in social media strategy and digital marketing has led her to freelance as a publishing strategist. After having gone through hybrid publishing, she knows a thing or two about marketing a book, a brand, and a writer. Both her coaching sessions keep in mind the author’s abilities and the work’s marketability. In her free time, Ashley enjoys traveling as often as possible (or when the pandemic permits)! When she isn’t writing or fulfilling her wanderlust, she loves spending time with friends and family, trying out new food, or going on hikes near the Pacific Palisades. Schedule a call with Ashley and share your vision— she’s all ears.
